Feature reference
Standard feature model
Section titled “Standard feature model”Every feature has a stable key and version, phase, default enabled state,
required source/target capabilities, and an option schema. Profile values are
stored as {version, enabled, options}. A version mismatch requires review.
Choose movies and shows independently where the target supports both. The group itself is a heading rather than a meaningless feature switch. Letterboxd is movie-only, so media filtering is automatic.
Watchlist / Planning
Section titled “Watchlist / Planning”Shared source modes:
- Native source watchlist
- All unwatched library items
- Native watchlist + all unwatched items
Protect target watchlist preserves target-only membership when source rules exclude the item. Provider-specific additions:
- AniList: Sync unlisted entries, Promote Planning to Watching, Protect target state, and removal Keep/Drop/Delete.
- Letterboxd: Do not re-add previously watched films and Remove watched films from watchlist.
Ratings
Section titled “Ratings”All active targets support:
- Only fill missing ratings — do not overwrite an existing target rating.
- Keep target when source is empty — do not clear the target when the source has no rating.
Without the second option, an explicitly removed source rating becomes a target rating delete. Target-to-source rating sync is not implemented.
AniList also configures episode/season/show priority, episode missing-rating mode, show fallback source states, and one of five score formats at the target instance.
AniList progress and playback
Section titled “AniList progress and playback”- Protect target episode progress blocks ordinary progress reduction.
- Playback state maps confirmed Continue Watching entry to Current and exit to Paused or Dropped for started, unfinished segments.
- Protect target state blocks ordinary lifecycle regression but yields to confirmed playback transitions and rewatch.
AniList rewatch
Section titled “AniList rewatch”Initial history mode is Use higher count, Add both histories, or Keep AniList history. Respect manual AniList changes is enabled and recommended. Repeat is increased only after a complete mapped segment replay, with durable pending state.
Plex recorded history
Section titled “Plex recorded history”- Synchronize recorded history enriches eligible Letterboxd diary profiles with exact connected-account activity. Default off.
- Sync watched media missing from libraries adds mappable account titles absent from selected Plex libraries. Available for Letterboxd and AniList; default off.
Both may significantly extend full-run duration.
Letterboxd Watched and diary
Section titled “Letterboxd Watched and diary”- Watched status marks completed/historically viewed films Watched without diary dates. Default off.
- Diary history appends exact dated events and implies Watched. Default off.
- Detect bulk Watched markings suppresses weak diary timestamps when more than the configured film limit occur inside the configured window. Defaults: enabled, 3 films allowed, 15 minutes.
Diary is append-only during normal sync and never invents missing dates.
Custom lists
Section titled “Custom lists”The custom_lists feature appears only when the source supports collections and
the target supports custom-list read/create/write. Default off.
- Exact mirror: membership and order (Letterboxd).
- Mirror membership: exact members, unchanged target order.
- Add only: never remove.
- Synchronize list names: default on.
- Removal: Detach and keep, Remove Brokerr-added members, or Delete Brokerr-created list where deletion is supported.
Bindings are selected in Lists and stored in dedicated list tables.
