Profiles and features

A profile owns one synchronization relationship. Open Profiles, select a card, or navigate directly to /sync-v2/profile/<profile-id>.

Identity and scope

The profile editor shows its stable ID, source and target instances, enabled state, selected source libraries, baseline readiness, and lifecycle-sensitive history. The ID is visible for APIs and list bindings but is not a Plex label.

Feature panels

Available features are grouped by purpose such as Lists, Planning/Watchlist, Playback and progress, Rewatch, Recorded history, Diary and Watched, and Ratings. Each feature has a master switch and provider-defined options. Help icons are reserved for behavior that needs more explanation.

The resolver exposes only compatible behavior. Examples:

AniList receives progress controls because Plex observes episodes and AniList reads/writes progress.
Letterboxd receives diary controls because Plex can enrich exact history and Letterboxd writes diary entries.
TMDB does not receive Watched or recorded-history features.

Saved defaults and feature versions

When a profile is created, current defaults are explicitly stored. A new feature added later is not automatically enabled for existing profiles. A changed feature version produces Needs review and is skipped until you save the profile.

Run controls

Choose Full reconciliation or Incremental delta. One Dry/Live switch controls the single run button. Live runs use warning styling and require confirmation for both full and incremental execution.

Incremental remains unavailable until a successful live full baseline. Enable Process source webhooks to let eligible Plex events use targeted incremental sync.

Automatic unmatched handling

Profiles default to auto-ignoring an item after three live unmatched results. You can disable the behavior or change the threshold. Dry-runs do not increment the counter, and a successful mapping resets it.
