Targets

Open Targets to add AniList, TMDB, or Letterboxd.

Target instance settings describe the provider connection, not sync rules. They may include an AniList score format, custom application credentials, or the generic HTTP policy. Profile feature panels decide what is synchronized.

Hosted authorization is recommended where offered. AniList and TMDB may use custom applications; Letterboxd currently supports hosted authorization only.

Every target instance exposes provider defaults for:

  • minimum request interval;
  • maximum request attempts;
  • initial exponential retry delay;
  • request timeout and bounded retry delay.

The shared client respects Retry-After and retries only methods the plugin declares safe. Bulk Apply and Revert share the same pacing state. Letterboxd diary creation is not blindly retried after an ambiguous timeout; the plugin performs a reconciliation read instead.

Use Open tester for the target’s plugin-defined actions. The centered tester shows inputs, start time, duration, sanitized request metadata, complete result, and copyable output. Typical actions are account connection checks and provider search.

A target cannot be deleted while a profile references it.
