Plex also declares artwork reads, collection/member reads, typed episode details, playback and playback-status observations, Continue Watching, rewatch counters, view-history summary/events/catalog, source event parsing, and event coalescing.

Target capability details

• AniList: list-status read/write, pause/drop playback response, progress, ratings, repeat count, and custom-list create/read/write/rename/delete.
• TMDB: watchlist, ratings, and private mixed-list create/read/write/delete.
• Letterboxd: identity, watchlist, ratings, Watched, diary, and custom-list create/read/write/rename/delete/order.
• SIMKL: multi-state list membership, ratings, exact watched episode coordinates, playback-state transitions, and activity/delta reads.

Capability names are contracts, not UI switches. The profile resolver combines them with feature requirements. A plugin that declares a capability but does not implement the corresponding runtime is rejected during discovery.

Media filtering

The engine filters unsupported media before target mapping. Letterboxd therefore skips shows without reporting them unmatched. AniList maps only anime that has a trusted direct/manual/AniBridge result; ordinary unmappable shows become unmatched.
