Does creating a profile start a sync?
Section titled “Does creating a profile start a sync?”No. Save it, run a full dry-run, then explicitly confirm a live run.
Why is Incremental disabled?
Section titled “Why is Incremental disabled?”The profile needs one successful live full baseline. Dry-runs and individually applied preview operations do not establish it.
Why does a run show no changes?
Section titled “Why does a run show no changes?”The target may already match, feature fingerprints may be unchanged, or items may be unsupported, protected, ignored, outside selected scope, or unmatched. Expand logs and item details rather than assuming the run did nothing.
Why can a webhook produce two runs?
Section titled “Why can a webhook produce two runs?”Plex may emit related events more than five seconds apart or expose final state only after the first delivery. Brokerr combines events for the same source item inside a five-second window but cannot merge later independent observations.
Does full always load complete Plex account history?
Section titled “Does full always load complete Plex account history?”No. It loads account cloud history only when an enabled feature requires it, such as Plex Synchronize recorded history or missing-library import. Fast safety analysis deliberately uses source counters without per-film cloud history.
Why are there fewer playback dates than viewCount?
Section titled “Why are there fewer playback dates than viewCount?”Plex may retain a counter but not every event date. Brokerr uses known exact
events and a valid lastViewedAt, reports the missing count, and never invents dates.
Can Brokerr distinguish play from manually marking Watched?
Section titled “Can Brokerr distinguish play from manually marking Watched?”Not always. Letterboxd diary bulk detection suppresses clusters of weak Plex timestamps, while confirmed playback-session events remain eligible.
Does Revert delete my existing Letterboxd diary?
Section titled “Does Revert delete my existing Letterboxd diary?”No. It deletes only the exact log-entry ID proven to have been created by the applied Brokerr operation.
Are custom lists selected with Plex labels?
Section titled “Are custom lists selected with Plex labels?”No. Bind source collections to new or existing target lists in Lists. Bindings and provider references are stored in the Brokerr database.
Can Brokerr refresh tokens?
Section titled “Can Brokerr refresh tokens?”Letterboxd hosted credentials refresh automatically through the auth gateway. An expired/revoked 90-day hosted refresh handle requires reconnection. Other providers depend on their current credential and authentication contract.
What happens if I lose the master key?
Section titled “What happens if I lose the master key?”Encrypted provider credentials cannot be decrypted. The administrator password cannot recover the key; restore the matching key or reconnect every provider.
Is a run JSON/CSV export a backup?
Section titled “Is a run JSON/CSV export a backup?”No. It is a secret-safe audit artifact and does not include credentials, profile state, managed-list bindings, or the encryption key.
Are scheduling and Discord notifications available?
Section titled “Are scheduling and Discord notifications available?”Yes. Profiles explicitly opt into scheduled full and/or incremental execution, then scheduler groups define timing. Discord webhooks can report terminal run outcomes and are configured under Notifications. Discord is not a target.
