General settings
General settings apply to the Brokerr instance rather than one provider.
Timezone
Section titled “Timezone”The scheduler timezone is also the canonical timezone used when Plex playback timestamps become Letterboxd diary dates. Changing it can move events near midnight to another calendar day; review a full dry-run after changing it.
Public URL and reverse proxy
Section titled “Public URL and reverse proxy”Configure the external HTTPS origin so copied webhook and callback-related URLs are correct. Allowed hosts and trusted proxies are security boundaries. Only trust the reverse proxy’s explicit IP or CIDR; forwarded headers from arbitrary clients are not trusted.
Webhook API key
Section titled “Webhook API key”The source webhook endpoint requires the configured API key. Treat it as a secret, rotate it after exposure, and update Plex after rotation.
OAuth gateway
Section titled “OAuth gateway”The default hosted gateway is https://auth.brokerr.net. Its health and
protocol compatibility are displayed on the dashboard. A custom gateway URL
is an operator decision and must implement the same protocol.
Retention and exports
Section titled “Retention and exports”Run history, source observations, mappings, cached artwork, and export files are stored under the persistent data directory. Use UI retention settings for supported cleanup. Never delete database WAL/SHM files while Brokerr is running.
