Mappings

The Mappings section controls AniBridge availability and cache refresh. AniBridge is an anime mapping dataset; it is not a general movie/TV metadata database.

Resolution order is fixed:

  1. manual mapping override;
  2. direct provider identifier from Plex, Jellyfin, or Emby metadata;
  3. AniBridge mapping when the dataset can supply the required identifier.

Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby can expose TMDB, TVDB, IMDb, AniDB, AniList, or MAL IDs, parentGuid, and grandparentGuid. Brokerr normalizes these descriptors and preserves season context for anime split into several target entries.

Cache

Section titled “Cache”

The AniBridge cache is rebuildable data under the configured data directory. Refresh it from Settings when Diagnostics reports stale or missing mappings. Startup refresh is optional to avoid making every restart depend on the remote release service.

Overrides

Section titled “Overrides”

Create overrides from an unmatched item or run diff. Search the selected target, verify media type and season, then save the target item ID. An override takes priority in future runs. Remove a wrong override rather than stacking a second ambiguous mapping for the same source identifier and target type.
