Managed custom lists

The global custom_lists feature mirrors source collections to target lists. Bindings are created and managed in Lists. Plex labels are not required and Brokerr does not modify them.

Create a binding

1. Enable Custom lists in a compatible profile.
2. Open Lists and choose the profile and a source collection.
3. Create a new private target list or adopt one existing target list.
4. Choose the synchronization mode and save the database-managed binding.

Two active bindings cannot manage the same target list. Adoption is explicit when multiple same-name lists exist.

Modes

• Exact mirror — synchronize membership and source order. Letterboxd only.
• Mirror membership — add and remove members; preserve target ordering.
• Add only — add mapped members and never remove existing target members.

List names can be synchronized independently. Removal policies are Detach and keep, Remove Brokerr-added members, and, where supported and proven safe, Delete Brokerr-created list.

Member mapping

Members use the same profile mapping pipeline as ordinary features: direct provider IDs, manual overrides, cached mappings, and AniBridge one-to-many segments. Duplicate target IDs are collapsed while preserving the first position.

Unmatched members do not block mapped members. Mirror modes remove only members that are provably no longer in the source. Unknown target members are preserved while unresolved source members remain. List-specific Ignore affects only that binding, not the same media item in ratings or progress.

Full and incremental behavior

Both full and incremental runs scan the complete catalog of bound collections. Target list I/O is skipped when the collection fingerprint is unchanged. A failed or incomplete source collection scan never triggers destructive removal.

List operations appear as one run card per collection with added, removed, moved, unmatched, and ignored counts. Details show individual members and provider references.
