Trakt
Capabilities
Section titled “Capabilities”Trakt uses the native watchlist for Planning, watched history for movie and episode progress, and Trakt ratings. It supports search, test actions, OAuth refresh, and connected account identity across movies, TV shows, and anime. Brokerr does not manage notes or rewatch.
Trakt has no permanent Paused state. An incomplete show leaving Plex Continue Watching keeps its existing watched history rather than writing a paused list state.
Authorization
Section titled “Authorization”Hosted mode uses the gateway. Custom mode needs client ID, client secret, and
/api/auth/trakt/callback.
Mapping
Section titled “Mapping”Direct Trakt, TVDB, TMDB, and IMDb identifiers are used according to media type. Search results can create manual overrides. Verify movie versus show and season before accepting a result.
Progress
Section titled “Progress”Shows are represented by watched episode history; movies are unwatched/watched. A lower desired progress can require history removal, so progress protection is recommended until the profile’s behavior is verified.
The Continue Watching row visible in Trakt is derived from history and provider presentation. Brokerr does not write an independent permanent resume timestamp.
Pacing and tests
Section titled “Pacing and tests”Brokerr paces writes and honors Retry-After after HTTP 429. Test account and
history reads before confirming write tests.
