MyAnimeList

MyAnimeList supports anime progress, Watching/Completed/On Hold/Dropped/Plan to Watch states, integer 0-10 scores, rewatch state/count, search, metadata artwork, connection tests, and connected identity. Brokerr does not write MAL notes.

Hosted mode uses the gateway. Custom mode requires client ID, client secret, and https://brokerr.example.com/api/auth/mal/callback. MAL authorization uses PKCE; Brokerr manages the verifier and stores access/refresh tokens encrypted.

Direct MAL identifiers and AniBridge anime mappings are supported. Scores are rounded to MAL’s integer scale.

MAL rewatch support is synchronized through the provider’s rewatch fields. Progress and state protection behave as described in Profiles and rules.

The target tools include a destructive clear-list operation. Profile dry-run does not protect this action; review its confirmation dialog before starting it.

For repeated authorization failures, reconnect the target. For HTTP 429, wait for the configured retry rather than starting more requests.
